Lars launched Quadrivium in 2009 with the vision of taking private company investing to the lower middle market and providing retiring entrepreneurs with flexible succession solutions. 

Lars plays a key role in deal structuring and execution, and he leads Quadrivium’s involvement with portfolio company’s post-acquisition. 

Prior to founding Quadrivium, Lars was a Managing Director at Blackmore Partners, a Chicago-based M&A advisory boutique he co-founded in 2006. Earlier in his career, Lars led the finance teams at two technology companies. Lars started his career at Arthur Andersen where he worked in audit and risk management from 1993 – 2001.

Lars holds an honours degree from the European Business School near Frankfurt, Germany, in finance and business administration. He currently serves on eight private company boards, including among others: Uni-Ram Corporation, AutoMotion Shade Inc., SaunaFin Inc., and Active Scale Manufacturing Inc.
